Services We Provide
Our training center offers Adult, Child, Infant and Senior Community CPR, Compressions only CPR, Family & Friends CPR, Babysitting CPR, Basic First Aid, Mental Health First Aide, Bloodborne Pathogens and Universal Precautions Training. For Community Rescuers, as well as Healthcare Professionals, Advanced Bleeding Control, Narcan Training (Naloxone), Certified Medication Technician Training (Renewal & Initial)
Heart-saver CPR: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation: For the community rescuers includes Adult, Children and Infant CPR.
This training covers one trained rescuer CPR. In this training you will learn mandatory CPR techniques. This training will give you the skills to keep a person alive until emergency responders arrive. You will learn how to properly respond and react in cases where you in counter someone who becomes unresponsive or goes into (SCA) sudden cardiac arrest. CPR involves administering artificial respiration and external cardiac massage to someone in distress. The person chance of survival depends on how you REACT. Knowing what to do and how to do it could save someone’s life. This can mean the difference between life and death as the minutes directly after an emergency are critical. (Class times vary based upon class size and how well students understand the taught material)
CPR: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Basic Life Support: For Healthcare Professionals includes Adult, Child and Infant CPR with a BMV (Bag Mask Value) and use of an AED (Automated External Defibrillator)
The American Heart Association Basic Life Support is a comprehensive training course designed for today's professional first responders. This course teaches 2 or more Healthcare Professionals how to recognize as well as how to REACT in severe life-threatening emergencies. Students will learn to perform adequate CPR on victims of all ages with the use of an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) and the use of a BMV. This course teaches students how to REACT in the event a person suddenly becomes ill or injured with little or no equipment available. Additional topic will also be covered such as preventative measures on choking, falls, heart attack, dehydration, cold/heat related emergencies, allergic reactions and much more. (Class times vary based upon class size and how well students understand the taught material)
Compressions Only CPR:
During this course students will learn to perform hands only CPR for adult victims. In cases where a person becomes unresponsive. There is no certification card for this course. However, upon completion students will receive a certificate verifying they have knowledge of hands only compression CPR training. (Class times may vary based upon class size and how well students understand the taught material)
Blended AHA (American Heart Association) Online Class:
The blended learning is a combination of E learning and in person learning. The student will complete part of the course online in a self-paced self-directed manner. Upon successful completion of the E learning. Students will need to schedule the hands-on skills session with an AHA Instructor to receive their certification card. (Class times may vary based upon class size and how well students understand the taught material)
Bloodborne Pathogens and Universal Precautions:
This course focuses on teaching students the importance of using PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). Students will also be taught the necessary precautions to avoid exposure of infectious bodily fluids, proper hand washing techniques, as well as proper glove removal and disposal. (Class times may vary based upon class size and how well students understand the taught material)
Rescue Breathing.
Students will learn when and how to administer rescue breathing. In cases where someone who is unresponsive and is not breathing but has a pulse. In rescuer breathing the rescuer is basically breathing for the person, helping to prevent brain damage and death. (Class times may vary based upon class size and how well students understand the taught material)
Mental Health First Aid (Adult):
This course consists of 2 hours of self paced work. Followed by 5.5 hours of ILT ( Instructor Led Training). This course teaches participants how to identify the signs and symptoms in adults who may be experiencing a mental health crises or substance use disorder. This training will equip you with the tools and resources you will need to assist someone with a Mental Health crisis. (5.5 hours via zoom) You will learn the signs and symptoms of Suicide, Non-Suicidal Behaviors, Depression and more ( All pre-work must be completed prior to meeting with an instructor)
Mental Health First Aid ( Youth):
This course consists of 2 hours of self paced work. Followed by 4.5 hours of ILT (Instructor Led Training). This course is designed to teach parents, adults, family members and caregivers how to assist adolescents age (12-18) who may be experiencing a mental health challenge or addiction challenge. You will learn the signs and symptoms of Anxiety Disorders, Panic Attacks, Schizophrenia, Trauma and more. ( 4.5 hours via zoom)
Certified Christian Mental Health Coaching:
Persons will receive 1 on 1 coaching. Be guided through the process of making decisions about their future. Develop strategies and a plan to overcome mental health challenges. They will be encouraged to discuss their emotions, feelings and experiences. Be connected with resources that can further help throughout their journey. (Certified Christian Mental Health Coach Specialists do not treat or diagnose)
Family & Friends CPR:
The AHA Family & Friends CPR training will teach the lifesaving skills for adult compressions only CPR and AED, adult CPR with rescue breaths is optional in this course. Students can also learn child, infant CPR with rescue breaths and the use of an AED (Automatic External Defibrillator) on a child and infant. Mild Severe Airway Block for an adult, child and infant can also be covered in this course. Family & Friends CPR was designed for persons who wish to learn CPR but do not require a certification card for employment purposes. (Class times may vary based upon class size and how well students understand the taught material)
Babysitting CPR:
In babysitting CPR this course focuses on child, infant CPR. Usage of an AED as well as how to identify mild and severe choking emergencies in children and infants. During this training you will also learn the skills to recognize a medical emergency. You will be able to identify when to call 911. (Class times may vary based upon class size and how well students understand the taught material)
Oxygen Administration:
This course is intended to teach emergency oxygen 02 administration. The course covers equipment usage as well as procedures providing supplemental oxygen to those that need it. Upon completion students will be able to administer oxygen 02 to a breathing or non-breathing person. The Oxygen Administration course is for Scuba Divers, Boat/ Beach Staff as well as other individuals who may need to administer oxygen. The course can be taught as a stand- alone course or a combined course. ( Class times may vary based upon class size and how well students understand the taught material)
CMT ( Certified Medication Technician):
The Med Tech, Certified Medication Technician training course is a 20 hour course that has been designed for person who wish to administer medication in a patients home or Assisted Living Facility. Students will learn medication administration, medication routes, medication storage and much more. CMT’s work under the delegation or supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Narcan ( Naloxone)
In this course students will learn about Opioids. They will learn how to recognize the signs and symptoms of an Opioid Overdose, how and when to respond, how to obtain and dispose of Naloxone and the importance of The Good Samaritan Law. (Class times may vary based upon class size and how well students understand the taught material)
Certifications
CPR certifications for Adult, Child and Infant are valid for 2 years
First Aid certifications are valid for 2 years
Mental Health First Aid certifications are valid for 2 years
Bloodborne Pathogen/ Universal Precautions certifications are valid for 1 year
Narcan training students receive a certificate of completion (There’s no certification card for this course)

Throughout the course students must demonstrate hands on skills with an instructor with 100% accuracy. Hands on training provides the necessary skills and techniques you will need to sustain life until more advanced medical personnel take over.
Test evaluations will be given to measure the students performance and also to evaluate their cognitive skills.
Duration Of Courses:
Each course length will be based upon the number of students, students participation, and students interactions. Time spent on each topic can vary based upon the students feed back, experience and how well they understood the topic.

Special accommodations can be made for individuals needing after hours , weekend or 1 on 1 training. We offer on site training at the location of your choice with 3 or more students. Discounted rates will be given to large groups of 5 or more students and also to returning students.
